ルネサンス時代とは言え、中世ヨーロッパの固定化され変化に乏しい閉鎖社会からの躍動がはじまったばかりの頃。
マキャベリが、この時代にこういう指摘をしている点が、ボクには驚き。
そして、時代の変化は、現代人のボクらでさえ感じにくいし認識しにくい。
あっという間に、若い人々の感覚と大きなギャップを感じることがよくある。
人間には、社会の変化を感じる感覚器が欠落しているようだ。
若い頃は、感覚器はなくても、その現実や社会に適応しなければならない。
そのため、若者は自然その時代にマッチするが、彼らも、その状態のまま老っていく運命にある。
だから意識して変化しなければ、という話だろう。
