今までのメディアは、政治家の生命を握る力をもっていたが、トランプは自分に不利な発言をするメディアを嫌い徹底的に攻撃した。これも今までの大統領にはない光景だった。
逆に時代が変化したことも世界中の人々に知らしめる結果となった。
インターネットが、それまでのメディアの独占的な地位と力をある程度殺いでしまったことを象徴している事件。
ネットの影響力について、こんな発言もしている
